Friends

So... Assassins Creed II looks pretty epic, and it's set in Florence. Mitch, ever the moral compass, is concerned about a game that is about killing people. But my motivation was that it's "historical killing people". Is there any reason I shouldn't get this game to test out the PS3? (our ONE blueray disc right now is IRON MAN (which I must say is pretty pretty), soon to be joined by STAR TREK. <3)

My other thought was to get the Batman Arkam Asylum game, similarly highly rated and you get to be Batman. I'm kind of a HUGE Batman fan. (Also, Batman only puts people "to sleep" instead of killing, so Mitch will like that. lol. Mitch is always a Paladin or a Healer... I'm always a mage or something with a big sword.) Seems like games are advanced enough now so that you can actually feel like you're in an environment, not like it was 10 years ago, you know? (so a good time for a Batman or assassin game...)

A lot of you said I should get Little Big Planet... but my main concern with that is that I don't really have a lot of time to BUILD things. It sounds fun, but if it takes a really long time to make a level or customize things, then I just know I'm not really going to have time for that. (I would have loved it when I was in highschool. I spent some rather ridiculous number of hours on Mario Paint...)

But now, when I play video games, I typically want something with fun, simple gameplay,... or something where I can blow stuff up (or stab things) in a spectacular manner.

On the front yard front, Mitch accidentally split one of the irrigation pipes even though I was being pretty careful trying to find them before we dug! :( Looks like they can come fix it tomorrow and I turned the irrigation system off,... yeesh!
So,... the two Madame Alfred Carriere climbing roses are planted, and The Prince (English shrub) is planted... but I still have some slightly upset Wildeve roses and one Felicia Hybrid Musk that need to be planted... but we're afraid to dig another hole without figuring out where the pipes are. stymied. :(

A pretty plant that Mitch got me! He surprised me by showing up at work with it last week. I have no idea what it is, though!

I got my bareroot roses in the mail, but one of the branches cracked a bit, so I pulled this rose off. It's "The Prince". I really need to plant them, but I haven't had time. Saturday, for SURE.

I shall dance a jig of glee as I am at the light at the end of a very dark tunnel for me. This has been years in the walking, stumbling, falling, running back to the darkness and now finally at the end. The start of my tunnel began with my weight loss surgery (tho most would think it would be a start?!), through a shitty marriage, a shitty divorce, and through a bad time in my life.

It really shows who your *TRUE* friends and family are. I simply kept to myself when things got really really bad, did what I needed to and am now better than before. Though, and don't take it too personally because it is hilarious to me, there's so much random gossip, hearsey, and bullshit out about me I've become my own Hollywood Star! I should write a book!! Make accussations about me all you want, until you know the truth, you ain't got shit. Oh and don't be mudflinging because it's going to hit you right back.

I haven't truly dated anyone in a very long time. I have had friends who've helped me out. And *NO* I'm not living anywhere except in this shit-hole of a military town.

Ahhhh.... Humility and Cinnamon Bears. That truly is the answer to the Universe!!

I'll probably be wearing plainclothes on Friday for the brief time I'm there (since I have to work), and then Wonder Party for Saturday... and then perhaps Sweets Time for Sunday. ....

BABY just added an adorable bunny print in L size, and it's actually L (to 102 cm). They also have a skirt with a 58-100cm waist!!
I'll have to think about this. maybe brown...? since I have a couple black ones? I dunno. All the colors are really really cute. Bunnies wearing fur coats and iceskates, people. ICESKATES.
I keep thinking of how cute and classy Kumiko-san (one of BABY's designers) looked when I saw her in Tokyo wearing a darker (I think it was brown) color way of Mother Goose Starry Sky. She really impresses me. She really seems to be able to wear lolita almost all the time, but comfortable in it.

I really need to go back through my loli wardrobe and reevaluate some things. Like, I'm really just not sure if the BW version of the longest name JSK is for me. I'd have to mod it a little, and there's something about the white accents that makes it a little too sweet, I think. I'd rather have it in BXB. ..... and I'm not sure about this hot pink snowdot JSK. I LOVE IT, but it's a little small in the bust area.
But maybe I'll take some photos with them on and you guys can help me decide. <3

Thanks to jubilima, I ordered some Fugawee Martha shoes in bone (offwhite) with these goldish ribbon buckles. This is so I can have something passable as period shoes to wear with my 18th century dresses. I'd love to get some pink fabric ones eventually,... but bone will go with most of my dresses fine.
